Who Can Submit?
Anyone may submit an original article to be considered for publication in JPM provided he or she owns the copyright to the work being submitted or is authorized by the copyright owner(s) to submit the article. Authors are the initial owners of the copyrights to their works (an exception in the non-academic world to this might exist if the authors have, as a condition of employment, agreed to transfer copyright to their employer).
General Submission Rules
Submitted articles cannot have been previously published, nor be forthcoming in an archival journal or book (print or electronic). By submitting material to JPM, the author is stipulating that the material is not currently under review at another journal (electronic or print) and that he or she will not submit the material to another journal (electronic or print) until the completion of the editorial decision process at JPM. If you have concerns about the submission terms for JPM, please contact the editors.
Screening Process
Manuscripts may be pre-screened to ensure they fit the focus and scope of the Journal. It is editorial policy that manuscripts are sent to two anonymous peer reviewers. Our aim is to make a decision on each manuscript within 4 months.

Research Article
This document outlines the structure for papers intended to disseminate original research conducted by scholars across various interdisciplinary fields. The aim is to provide new insights that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in community development, with a particular focus on diverse groups, communities, and geographical areas within Muslim societies worldwide. This paper is generally long, with word count ranging from 6,000 to 10,000, and each paper should include the following sections: title, abstract, introduction, literature review or theoretical considerations, methodology, findings, discussion, conclusion, and references, which should be organized in alphabetical order according to American Psychological Association (APA) Style. It is recommended to utilize reference management software such as Zotero, Mendeley, and EndNote. For further guidance, please refer to the manuscript template provided here.
Review Paper
This document serves as a guideline for numerous manuscripts pertaining to the stylistic framework of conceptual papers. Authors should clearly articulate their research methodologies, particularly when employing frameworks such as Systematic Literature Review (SLR) or similar approaches. In general, a review paper is usually long ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 words, and the manuscript should encompass the following sections: title, abstract, introduction, literature review or theoretical considerations with thematic sub-sections, discussion, conclusion, and references formatted in alphabetical order according to American Psychological Association (APA) Style. It is advisable to utilize reference management software such as Zotero, Mendeley, and EndNote. For further assistance, please refer to the manuscript template provided here.
Brief Manuscript Guidelines
In the main, Manuscripts for papers shall be based on primary research, exceptional critical literature reviews, or practice innovations. Manuscripts should be typed in Baskerville font, 12, 1.5 point spaced with ‘normal margins (c.2.5cm). All text should be unjustified. Do not insert page breaks or bold the text. Submission of an article is taken to imply that it has not previously been published and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. This fact should be stated by the author on submission. The editorial board is advisable author(s) to send a result of checking plagiarism using Turnitin or other software, when the manuscript submits to this journal.
Responsibility of Authors
Authors are required to correct proofs prior to publication. The final typescript accepted for publication must be considered definitive, and any subsequent corrections should be limited to typographical errors. Alterations at this stage may only be made with the consent of the editorial team. Changes to the text will not be accepted during the proof stage. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that permission has been obtained for the use of copyrighted material from external sources, including online content. This journal prioritizes the selection of articles that demonstrate minimal errors in spelling, grammar, translation, and artwork preparation. To assist authors in enhancing their manuscripts and preparing them for submission, we recommend that they proofread or edit their manuscripts prior to submission to the journal. This practice is intended to minimize errors in the manuscript before it is forwarded to reviewers.
Referencing Style
All references cited in the text of the article should be written in the bibliography section. It should include references obtained from primary sources (consisting of scientific journals amounting to 80% of the entire bibliography) that have been published in the last 10 (ten) years. The remaining 20% may include research articles or research reports (thesis, books, and other relevant publications. All reference mentioned should be written down in reference using American Psychological Association (APA) style and arranged from A to Z. For formatting citations and bibliographies, it is recommended that you use reference management software such as such as Zotero, Mendeley, and EndNote.
